YUMETEX Co., Ltd. earned second place in“What's Next Textile”popularity vote at the Tokyo Textile Scope 2026 Spring/Summer. Toray Industries, Inc. won first place with its hybrid Ultrasuede blend (50% linen, 40% polyester, 10% polyurethane), while Asaki Co., Ltd. claimed third place with its 100% organic waffle-check cotton fabric.

The "Tokyo Textile Scope", known as one of Japan's most influential platforms for textile industry, attracted participation from leading manufacturers, designers, and global buyers. The“What's Next Textile”vote aims to identify forward-looking developments that combine sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics. The poll reflects industry professionals'views on the next wave of commercial textile trends. 

YUMETEX impressed both buyers and design specialists with its material innovation titled"Silk-Cotton Pearl-Finish Fabric", which composed of 79% cotton and 21% silk. YUMETEX's result underscores a growing market preference for natural fibers enhanced through innovative finishing techniques.
